Connie Shaw

Connie Shaw TCW Brand Ambassador

I am a mixed media artist, blogger and product designer. I have been a crafter and quilter for over 30 years starting out of necessity when I was a young military wife on a tight budget. My individual style is full of bright colors and lots of texture.  My wish is to help everyone find their inner artist and crafty self by sharing my process on my YouTube channel.

Niki Green

Niki Green TCW Brand Ambassador

Niki is a Canadian Artist from Victoria, BC. Her art reflects her love of nature and all things colour. She uses acrylics, papers, stamps, stencils, alcohol inks and anything else she can get her hands on to create her work. Niki often allows the project to lead the way, never knowing exactly how it will turn out. She believes in the power of quietly listening to one’s inner Artist and nurturing the organic artistic process. She is currently a Brand Ambassador for The Crafter’s Workshop and sells her finished work Internationally.

Anna Labieniec

I am Anna one of TCW Brand Ambassadors. I started my craft journey four years ago when I had to deal with a very sad experience in my life. My heart was broken and I couldn’t find the way to heal it and then one day I saw Gabrielle’s Pollacco videos on YouTube. I fell amazed and then I came across Marta’s Lapkowska videos. Both ladies were using TCW stencils and I totally got inspired by them and my first ever stencil I got was “Art is” stencil designed by Jaime. I started experimenting with mixed media and cardmaking. I slowly started to build my stencil collection and when the opportunity came to be a TCW Brand Ambassador, I couldn’t resist. I love to add texture to my pieces. I love TCW’s wide range of designs and their sizes of stencils are just perfect for me. So, here I am – a proud Brand Ambassador of the TCW brand.

Karen Burchill

Hi my name is Karen Burchill. I am a mixed media artist and art journaler. I recently relocated, with my husband Tim, to beautiful Victoria, BC Canada after retiring after 30 years of teaching in Saskatchewan. Being creative has always been part of my life. As a teacher, I loved coming up with unique art projects for my young students. Looking back this was my training ground for mixed media. They were always full of color, textures, and layers. Pinterest opened up the world of mixed media and art journaling to me. Soon I was creating at every opportunity and starting a YouTube channel and Facebook group. I love how social media has made it possible for us crafters and artists, who typically create alone to connect with others and develop “creationships” with people worldwide. I love sharing what I know with others I have seen firsthand the therapeutic benefits of creating and am motivated to share it with others. I teach mixed media to both children and adults in Victoria. I am thrilled to be Brand Ambassador for The Crafters Workshop.

Amy Taylor

Amy Taylor TCW Brand Ambassador

I’m a daily art-making color-obsessed stencil lover! I create because it feeds my soul, lets my heart sing, and makes me a nicer person to be around. By day I’m a sixth-grade teacher, and my art routine really helps with stress relief! I’m usually in my studio in the evenings, weekends, and summers with paint on my fingers (and sometimes in my hair) working on a tag, card, art journal page, or other creative endeavors. Mixed media is my joy because I get to use so many of my supplies at once and see how they work together. I also love hand lettering, so I frequently incorporate that hobby into my art. I am so proud to be a part of the TCW team – best stencils in the world!

Courtney Earl

Courtney Earl TCW Brand Ambassador

Hi everyone!
My name is Courtney but I also answer to Scrappy Girl. I am an Aussie stay at home mum to two teenage boys. I also have a hubby who has coped amazingly well with me slowly taking over our dining room with my arty shenanigans. I was not the least bit creative growing up and if you had told me 10 years ago that I would be deliriously happy playing in paint and ink and gluing pieces of paper to other pieces of paper I would have thought you were crazy. I started with traditional scrapbooking, moved to Project Life and then discovered the magical and somewhat addictive world of mixed media. I love my hobby and I am ridiculously proud to have been asked to be a Brand Ambassador for TCW and I can’t wait to share heaps of artyness with you all.

Ali Ridgway

I grew up dreaming of becoming a writer. I moved to London to study magazine journalism, and worked my way up to become an Editor. I became interested in magazine design and started designing alphabets, then printed my designs onto t-shirts and cards. I had great fun selling from stalls at summer festivals. I yearned to do a degree and finally aged 36 I got made redundant and it gave me the chance. I studied Graphic Design, specializing in printmaking and book-binding, and had the time of my life. I made my own stencils to print with. I had filled notebooks and sketchbooks since I was 21 and during my degree, this went into overdrive. My final thesis was about artist sketchbooks and the new term “art journals.” The old journalist in me interviewed Teesha Moore and shortly after, with my degree complete, my books went through a metamorphosis and emerged as art journals. I followed the blog of Julie Fei-Fan Balzer and bought my first TCW stencil. I’ve spent the last 10 years filling book after book, experimenting, playing, trying different styles, and new art materials. I can’t stop making or playing and don’t want to. Finally, in 2019 I gave in to social media and joined Instagram and have been sharing my work ever since. I’ve bought TCW stencils from every release since that original Balzer stencil. I love finding new ways to use them and like to inspire other people to discover the fun of stencils. Becoming a Brand Ambassador is a dream come true and means I have an excuse to continue filling my 394 books!
